February Can Do, A Huge Success!
2000 yards=1 can of food
Cans are due by Monday March 5. If a financial donation is preferred, a check can be made out to: Menlo
Park Senior Center.
What to do with all the yards?
1. Take it a bit lighter for a week so the work can absorb into the body and mind.
2. Layer the strong swimming and the fast swimming on top of the aerobic foundation resulting in overall better workout and meet performances.
3. With large amounts of yardage, ones endurance is expected to build, not necessarily one's speed. Expect to finish a swim stronger...resulting in an overall faster time.
Congratulations all Menlo Masters for coming together as a team and accomplishing amazing results.
