Menlo Masters Meet Update

Menlo Masters Meet Update

-We are up to 36 Menlo Masters Swimmers registered for our First Annual Long Course Meet which is 8 days away.

-We are nearing the team goal of 100 swimmers registered.  That is 1 out of every 3 swimmers on our team. 

-Deadline for online entry is April 19, midnight. http://menlo.mastersswim.com   Deck entry for everything but the 400 free on can take place on Saturday at the meet.

-The meet now has nearly 150 registered swimmers.

-You can swim and volunteer.  At least we think so.

-We have over 20 community based sponsors.

-Many people on our team are coming together and working hard to ensure the success of this meet.

-This meet is dedicated to Dick Bennett.  The 200 Backstroke will have special awards for the age group winners.

Burgess Pool Update

-Planning commission voted 6-0 in favor of granting us a use permit to operate the facility.  It was a success.

-Next step is City Council on Tuesday April 18, 7PM. 

-Contractors need 3 days of dry weather to complete the construction of the pool.

-Water needs to be in the pool 2 weeks before it can be inhabited.
