Burgess Pool Update

The Burgess Pool Grand Opening has been scheduled for Saturday May 20, noon to 4 PM.

We are planning a huge pool party for the whole community.   People have waited anxiously for more than two years for this project to be completed. We are offering free food and free swimming to everyone at the Grand Opening.  We project to have more than 1000 people come and visit the pool next Saturday.

We have also organized a special Grand Opening for all the employees of Menlo Park and their families on Friday, May 19 from 5-7 PM.

I had hoped and stated that Burgess Pool would be ready for us this coming Monday, but some malfunctions have delayed the opening process.  Hopefully the problems can be repaired before the Grand Opening.  There are no guarantees.

Stay tuned for the Menlo Masters' first Burgess Pool swim workout.  It may be as early as Friday morning May 19.

Herkner Pool

Our beloved Herkner Pool is closing on Monday May 15 for repairs.

We will be swimming at HOOVER POOL starting Monday May 15 until Burgess is ready for us.

5:45AM workouts will still be at Woodside School until Burgess is ready.
