Hour Swim
We kicked off the hour swim this morning (1/28), and we are planning on having this weekend (plus Monday) full of hour swimmers giving it their best.
57 swimmers so far have reserved their lane space
63 spots are still available
3 swimmers are doing the swim more than once
New Team Challenges:
1. How many 100 IM’s can you do in one hour? This is for the swimmer who cannot bear to do freestyle for so long.
2. There are hour swim relay divisions. 3 women or 3 men or mixed 2 men and 2 women. Check it out and get some lanemates together.

Trans-Tahoe
This event is a team open water favorite that we compete in the Trans Tahoe swim about every other year. It takes place on July 23, 2011. The race is 11 miles long and each relay team consists of 6 swimmers. Many divisions are available and the water temperature is pleasant and bearable.
The race is very popular and does sell out way in advance. Menlo Masters already has two teams fully subscribed. We are looking to place interested individuals together and form many more teams. We have a team interest document so we/you can begin to form teams. It is urgent since the race sells out earlier every year.
